Poetry Reading “Through the Storm, I Stand” by Dominiqua Alice Jobson
We’ve got a truly special evening of poetry coming up! Join us on Wednesday, October 29 from 18:30–20:30 for a reading with Dominiqua Alice Jobson—a Zimbabwean–South African–Indian author based in Vienna and the voice behind Through the Storm, I Stand.
Her debut collection is a heartfelt exploration of healing, resilience, and growth—a reminder that even through life’s storms, there is light to be found and strength to be reclaimed.
The evening includes a poetry reading, Q&A, and open conversation, followed by drinks, chats, and book signings!
RSVP via Eventbrite :)
Author Reading + Q&A: "Why I Failed in Porn" by Maria Bettina
We're so excited to have Maria Bettina join us for a live reading and Q&A with her book "Why I Failed in Porn" which follows her journey of launching, growing, and ultimately failing in the adult entertainment industry!
Her work explores society's complex relationship with porn and sex education, the challenges of entrepreneurship, and the struggles of working in a deeply stigmatized space.
RSVP via Eventbrite please :)
Author Reading: "New Animal" by Eleanor Keisman
On September 24th, we’re celebrating the release of New Animal by the amazing Eleanor Keisman 🎉
We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute reading, then open the floor for a Q&A and lively discussion. After that, stick around for drinks, chats, and book signings with Eleanor herself!
RSVP via Eventbrite please :)
The blurb:
The story follows the experiences of a wolf, a wolfdog, and a man, navigating survival in a near-future, climate ravaged Yukon. Although climate change is the vehicle for the story, there is a strong focus on the sense of identity lost uniquely by each character: The wolf from his pack and the natural order as he knew it; the wolfdog from his origin species; and the man from modern economic and societal values. They come together in an unexpected circumstance, and seek to recreate their own irretrievably lost connections.
